Urban Development Essential -TID

Thank you, Mr. David C. Lee, BBS, JP, founder of D.H. international Group Holdings limited, for sharing his experience in TID (transport intergraded development) projects. Mr. Lee has rich experience in planning and designing TID projects in Hong Kong and China.  TID referring not only limited to the above-station development projects but also to all the public transportation terminals. With many successful TID projects in China and Hong Kong over the past decades, for instance, “The Centre” and “The Cullinan West”, Mr. Lee showed how to maximize the use of the land resource and balance the different interests of stakeholders.

Balancing the community’s interest and maximizing the economic efficiency of the TID is the key consideration of a successful TID project. The design and planning must be beneficial to the transportations system, and the development should consider the profit of the society. As the result, the TID project will achieve social benefit maximization.

Mr. Lee also shared his experience in solving problems with solid examples. The limitations of the use of the land and the related government policy restrictions often need more effort to “tailor-made” solutions.

It is our honor to have Mr. Lee sharing his precious experience with us.
