About Shenzhen Global Design Award
The Shenzhen Global Design Award is organized by the Shenzhen Design Week and the Global Design Award Organizing Committee, and undertaken by the Shenzhen Innovation and Creative Design Development Office. Supporting organizations include the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, the World Design Organization, and the International Design Council. The award aims to discover and recognize designers and outstanding design works that are forward-looking, creative, driving, and influential.
A total of 5,198 entries were submitted for this year’s award, with works coming from the Chinese mainland, Chinese Taiwan, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Finland, Spain, Singapore, Portugal, Italy, DPRK, Vietnam, Russia, Australia, Sweden, Austria, and 22 other countries and regions.
